biography

Although she is best known for modeling and acting, Kaci's passion for the arts began at a very young age with a deep love for music and photography.

In her youth, she effortlessly explored various interests. She participated in the school percussion band, taught herself to play multiple instruments, engaged in club and beach volleyball, acquired her first professional camera, and secured a contract with a prestigious modeling agency all before turning 15. As if that wasn't impressive enough, she also held the positions of class historian and yearbook editor at the technical high school while earning a college certificate in commercial photography. Shortly after turning 18, she embarked on a journey to travel the world.

From a young age, Kaci found that a plant-based lifestyle perfectly complemented her passion for the arts and reverence for the Earth. While her peers indulged in pizza and burgers, Kaci remained steadfast in her conviction that consuming animals was detrimental to both physical well-being and spiritual harmony.

When yoga initially came into the picture, she primarily embraced it as a fitness regimen. As a professional model in New York City, the demand to maintain a specific body shape was overwhelming. After seven years in the industry, she became aware of various methods to adhere to agency size requirements and experimented with some. Nevertheless, she recognized the significance of daily physical activity and the direct link between mindfulness and overall fitness - encompassing physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Dedicating herself further to her yoga practice increased her mindfulness of breath, alignment, and purpose, leading her to embrace self-love and a positive relationship with her body through its various changes, rather than feeling ashamed for not fitting industry standards. Yoga has now evolved into her daily routine and fundamental lifestyle.

In her own words...

"I fell in love with how connected yoga made me feel so I decided to deepen my practice and train as an instructor. After completing my first 200hr YTT, I’ve narrowed my focus to guiding others through yoga philosophy with holistic health, and sound healing." ~Kaci

One of the best decisions of my life was to follow my passion and curiosity. It took me nearly 2 years after getting certified to crawl out of my shell and embrace the art of teaching while embodying simultaneously. I have such deep gratitude for @yogafactoryfortlauderdale & @yogafactoryweston for offering me their space to play, create and sharpen my facilitating skills. Their infrared dim lit studio was the perfect cocoon, allowing me to transform through the fire. 258 hours of in-studio yoga teaching later... and I'm a wholly new person. If you’re considering stepping into a new way of service, guiding in some way, let this be your reminder to lean into the discomfort that comes when you’re pushing an edge. To clear our channel and receive divine guidance with less distortion, we must be willing to give more. To the beautiful beings that encouraged me along the way, I love you! 🫶🏽
